  • ABOUT THE PRODUCER:Ā Forest Hill Vineyard has a unique place in the history of Western Australiaā€™s wine industry, being the first cool climate vineyard planted in the state in 1965 as an experiment by the Western Australian Department of Agriculture. The original vineyard was planted with Riesling and Cabernet cuttings sourced from the Houghton's property in the Swan Valley. The property was purchased by the Lyons family in 1996 whoĀ embarked on a program to rejuvenate the old vineyards and plant appropriate new ones.
