  • ABOUT THE PRODUCER: Neustift Abbey’s winery is one of the oldest in the world. Since 1142 wine production has been an integral part of life at Neustift Abbey, which is located right in the middle of the northernmost winegrowing area south of the Alps. Tradition and location are of course both reflected in the Neustift wines. As well as a constant striving for the highest quality. For centuries wine was only produced for the Neustift community’s own use. Gradually, however, the winery assumed a leading role, and today it is one of the most famous in the wine country of South Tyrol/Alto Adige.
